I just picked up the first major release from Kansas City-based Ad Astra Per Aspera and it’s pretty impressive. They’ve been around for a number of years now, touring pretty much nonstop. Somehow I managed to miss them until a few months back when they opened for Wolf Parade in Lawrence, KS. If you’re in the market for some new music, don’t hesitate to check these guys (and girls) out and don’t be surprised if you hear more about them soon.
