Beginning
The year is almost over. Any number of bloggers, podcasters, journalists, movie critics, and the like are making their year-in-review lists and their predictions for 2007 and I’m feeling depressed about my lack of involvement in almost anything that happened this year.
There have been a lot of things changing for me and I’m about to head in a new direction - personally and professionally - and I intend on making full use of this blog and transitioning it into a much more important role in the not-so-distant future.
On the professional side I’m narrowing my focus in the coming months - New Marketing, Social Networking, Marketing Commentary, Wikis, Blogs, Podcasts and a whole lot of questions regarding these topics will be presented here. On the personal side I’m finishing school. The first long haul is over and I’m completely confused about what the future holds. Where am I going and How do I get there?
If anything is abundantly clear by now it’s that I am in no way an expert on anything. I don’t have twenty years in business or Doctorate on any subject. I’m learning. And I can’t think of a better way to learn then to join the conversation.
I don’t have a great background, I don’t have a great job, I don’t have a clear vision for the future and that’s what makes me unique. How do I find my way? I intend on documenting my path here and maybe others can learn along with me.
